About Clarity Estate Planning

Making the Hardest Conversations a Little Easier

It can be difficult to look ahead without some help. Estate planning asks you to talk about things people usually don’t want to: death, money, family, healthcare, paperwork, and who you would have to trust completely if life gets really complicated.

From her office in Old Fourth Ward, Attorney Rhea Doty helps Atlanta clients turn those hard conversations into documents that might make life’s hardest moments easier for you and your loved ones: wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, probate plans, and more.

Clarity Started With A Simple Idea: Everyone Has an Estate

Our Story

We believe estate planning should feel connected to real life, not reserved for a certain age, income level, or version of success.

Yes, an estate can mean a large home, a business, investment accounts, or inherited property.

For many people, though, it also means planning for things like: the townhome you share with your partner in Reynoldstown, the dog you walk on the Beltline, the things you have made, the things you have saved, and the people you would want beside you if something ever happened.

Meet Rhea Doty

Our Team

Rhea Doty is the managing attorney of Clarity Estate Planning. She helps Atlanta clients with estate planning, wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, document execution, and uncontested probate matters.

Clients come to Rhea because she is approachable, careful, and easy to talk to. She starts by learning what brought you here, then helps you choose the documents, people, and next steps that fit your life.

Outside the office, Rhea is usually reading, thrifting, traveling, enjoying live music, exploring Atlanta, or talking about her pets.

Why Clients Choose Clarity

Bring in The Weird Questions

There are plenty of normal questions in estate planning that feel strange to ask out loud. Rhea makes space for the practical, personal, emotional, and very specific things you want to talk through.

Plan For How Life Really Is

Clarity works with homeowners, renters, parents, partners, creatives, LGBTQIA+ clients, chosen families, caregivers, pet people, business owners, and people who are simply ready to get their important decisions in writing.

Get It Talked Through, Written Down, And Signed

Rhea helps clients move from “I should probably do this” to finished documents, clear decisions, and a plan they understand.

In The Community

Clarity Estate Planning is part of the Old Fourth Ward community, right beside the Eastside Beltline and surrounded by the neighborhoods where many of our clients live, work, create, raise families, care for pets, and build their futures.

That local connection shapes the way we think about planning. Our clients are neighbors, business owners, artists, parents, partners, caregivers, homeowners, renters, and friends who want to make thoughtful decisions for the people closest to them.

Our work starts with real people, real relationships, and the plans that help protect what matters most in the community we call home.

Testimonials

"Rhea is the best. I've been meaning to establish a will and plan my estate for quite some time, but had been putting it off for fear of how time intensive and complex it would be. But Rhea made it fast, easy, and (dare I say?) fun. She was knowledgeable, organized, thoughtful, considerate, and so easy to work with. I'm glad to finally have this big life item off my checklist. I cannot recommend her enough!"
